MERAKI MATERIA is a premium design brand based in the Netherlands, specialising in high-quality sinks, mirrors and bathtubs. Through our website, customers can explore our collections, request custom-made products and complete purchases online.

Use of the Website

Unlawful or unauthorised use of the website or our products is strictly prohibited.

Product Information

We strive to display our products as accurately as possible. Due to the natural properties of the materials used, slight variations in colour, structure, finish and appearance may occur. In addition, our products are partly handcrafted and finished by hand. As a result, minor differences may occur in finishing, detailing, dimensions and the alignment of individual components.

Complete uniformity or a completely seamless finish can therefore not be guaranteed. These characteristics are inherent to the production process and make each product unique. They do not constitute grounds for complaints, cancellations, returns or claims regarding alleged deviations.

All stated dimensions are indicative and may vary slightly.

Orders & Payments

All orders are subject to availability. MERAKI MATERIA reserves the right to cancel or refuse an order in the event of pricing errors, material shortages or suspected fraud.

Full payment is required when placing the order, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

We accept common payment methods through our secure checkout system.

Business customers (B2B) will receive an invoice containing their company details.

Businesses outside the Netherlands cannot request a 0% VAT invoice. An invoice will only be issued with the stated company details and VAT in accordance with applicable regulations.

Delivery & Installation

The estimated delivery time is 8 to 14 weeks after order confirmation. In some cases, the delivery time may vary due to production conditions, material availability, transport conditions or other external factors. The stated delivery time is indicative and cannot be guaranteed.

Other countries within Europe: €125

Bathtubs: Free delivery, regardless of the country of destination.

Important Delivery Conditions

MERAKI MATERIA arranges the delivery of orders in accordance with the agreed conditions.

For products where installation applies, installation will be carried out by our team if agreed in advance.

The customer must ensure sufficient accessibility to the delivery location. If the location is not easily accessible or additional equipment is required, additional costs may be charged.

MERAKI MATERIA is not responsible for delays or additional costs resulting from insufficient accessibility or preparation of the delivery location.

Installation Conditions

If installation forms part of the order, it will be carried out in accordance with the arrangements agreed in advance.

As our products are high-quality design products and custom-made items, installation requirements vary by product. Each installation is assessed individually and adapted to the specific situation.

The customer must remain in contact with MERAKI MATERIA before and after delivery to coordinate further steps regarding installation.

If the location is unsuitable for installation (for example, due to insufficient space, poor accessibility or unsafe conditions), MERAKI MATERIA reserves the right to postpone or refuse installation until the location has been made suitable.

Cancellations & Returns

All sales are final.

We do not accept cancellations, returns or refunds for custom-made or made-to-order products.

If a product is delivered damaged, this must be reported by email within 48 hours of delivery, including clear photographs of the damage. After this period, the right to make a claim expires.

MERAKI MATERIA will provide an appropriate solution in the event of a valid damage claim.

B2B Partnerships and Resale

MERAKI MATERIA works with business partners and resellers (B2B).

Companies wishing to resell our products or include them in their product range can contact us regarding:

Different agreements, prices and conditions may apply to business partnerships. These will be recorded in writing between both parties.

Liability

MERAKI MATERIA is not liable for indirect damage, consequential damage or damage resulting from improper use, incorrect installation by third parties or insufficient preparation of the location.

After delivery and any applicable installation, responsibility for the correct use and maintenance of the product lies with the customer.

Force Majeure

MERAKI MATERIA is not liable for delays or failure to fulfil obligations as a result of force majeure.

Force majeure includes, but is not limited to:

Transport problems
Material shortages
Production delays
Extreme weather conditions
Strikes
Government measures
Other circumstances beyond our control

In the event of force majeure, the delivery time may be extended without entitlement to compensation.

Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including texts, images, designs and product visualisations, is the property of MERAKI MATERIA.

It is not permitted to copy, reproduce, distribute or use this content without prior written permission.

Changes

MERAKI MATERIA reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time.

Applicable Law

All agreements and orders are governed by Dutch law.

Disputes will be submitted to the competent court in the Netherlands.
